James Bracey (born 17 September 1984, in Gosford, New South Wales) is the Sky News Australia's Sports Reporter.

While studying at the University of Newcastle, James got a job at Australia's subscription news channel Sky News Australia in 2004. He joined the SKY NEWS team as a sports producer while studying media at Newcastle University.After graduating with a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) Bracey joined the team in Sydney full time.

The highlight of his career to date came when Bracey was sent to Beijing to cover the 2008 Summer Olympic Games for Sky News Australia.

In the lead up to the Games, Bracey went behind the scenes with the Australian swimming team to follow their preparations, from qualifying at the Aussie titles in Sydney to their pre-Olympic camp in Kuala Lumpur and then onto the biggest stage of all.

The skilled broadcaster was later awarded Swimming Australia’s 2008 Media Award for his coverage.[1]

In 2010 he attended the Winter Olympics in Canada and the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Dehli for Foxtel.[2][3]
